We are deeply grateful for all the giants on whose shoulders we stand:
Albert Einstein Institute, Freedom House, ICNC, CANVAS, Nonviolence International, Waging Nonviolence, Rhize and Beautiful Trouble. We are particularly inspired by Gandhi experts Metta Nonviolence as our mentors of deep nonviolence.
Other
We will ally with any government and army willing to do what is right. We expect to find powerful allies within the Western democratic governments, but will at the same time nonviolently oppose neo-colonial projects in Africa, South America and Asia.
We hope to contribute to ending neo-colonialism, by showing the way forward of nonviolent democratic transitions through women-led social movements. More than ever before, it is crucial that the West fully embrace their beautiful words of peace and freedom, instead of funding autocratic regimes (such as in Uganda) or help facilitate a genocide in Gaza by Israel.
We observe that while all the noble rhetoric and solidarity of these democracies is put in practice to the struggle for freedom of Ukraine, many other non-white nations do not benefit from the same solidarity.
